Job summary

Fintellect Recruitment Limited seeks a results-driven Business Development Manager to grow an Asset Based Lending portfolio in London. You will originate, structure and win ABL deals from £1m to £50m by building relationships with corporate finance advisers, accountants and brokers, while collaborating with underwriting and risk teams.

The role offers autonomy, exposure to senior stakeholders, and an opportunity to expand introducer networks and drive growth across the business.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of originating ABL transactions within £1m-£50m.
• Established network across corporate finance advisers, accountants and brokers.
• Strong knowledge of ABL structures: receivables, inventory, property, machinery.
• Confident financial analysis including interpreting accounts and forecasts.
• Strong communication, negotiation and pipeline management skills.

Responsibilities

• Originate new ABL opportunities and deliver against new business targets.
• Build and develop relationships with corporate finance advisers, accountants, brokers and other professional introducers.
• Manage the full sales process, from initial enquiry through to onboarding.
• Prepare clear, accurate credit submissions and work closely with underwriting teams.
• Collaborate with Risk, Operations and Relationship Management to deliver a strong customer and introducer experience.
• Maintain awareness of market developments, competitor activity and relevant regulatory requirements.
