Southend City Council is seeking a permanent full-time Qualified Social Worker to join the Assessment and Intervention team. Hybrid working arrangements are available, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week on-site at the Civic Centre.
This role offers a one-time incentive of £7,500 after three years and one day of employment. The primary responsibilities include providing efficient and cost-effective services to young people, conducting assessments, developing comprehensive Pathway Plans and risk assessments, and supporting children and families within the local authority area, including working with CIN, CLA, CP, and section 47 processes.
