This position is open to Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSWs) and experienced Social Workers. (The starting salary for a NQSW is £34,902 per annum, rising to £37,185 upon successful completion of the ASYE programme).
Join our Assessment & Intervention (A&I) teams, where we serve as the entry point for children, young individuals, parents, carers, and collaborating agencies seeking access to our transformative Children & Families services. Our A&I team conducts initial assessments and delivers short-term interventions to make a positive difference in families' lives.
Your Role in A&I: You will work with children in need (CIN) and their families, providing tailored support for up to three months. You will engage in S47 child protection inquiries, collaborating with law enforcement and partners to assess immediate risks. When appropriate, you will transition cases to our Family Support and Protection Teams, shaping brighter futures for children and families.
