This is a permanent, full-time position located in Colchester, Essex. The closing date for applications is 15th May 2025.

This role is suitable for both Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSWs) and experienced Social Workers. The starting salary for NQSWs is £34,902 per annum, increasing to £37,185 after successful completion of the ASYE programme.
Our A&I team serves as the entry point for children, young people, families, and partner agencies seeking access to our Children & Families services. The team conducts initial assessments and provides short-term interventions to positively impact families' lives.
You will work with children in need (CIN) and their families, offering tailored support for up to three months. Your responsibilities include participating in S47 child protection inquiries, collaborating with law enforcement and partners to assess immediate risks, and transitioning cases to long-term support teams when appropriate. Your work is vital in shaping brighter futures for children and families.
