Job summary

Red Bull Technology is seeking an Assembly Technician (Gearbox) to join the Assembly Group. You will build and maintain race car gearbox assemblies, based at our MK HQ with possible travel to race events, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines.

Ideal candidates bring proven mechanical assembly experience, the ability to read engineering drawings, and strong IT skills. A safety-focused mindset and willingness to learn across activities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Build, service and maintain a wide range of race car gearbox assemblies, ensuring the highest standards of quality, reliability and performance.
• Primarily based at Red Bull Technology HQ, with potential opportunities for travel to race and test events.
• Work collaboratively across all assembly areas to ensure delivery deadlines are achieved and operational efficiency is maximised.
• Demonstrate a positive, flexible and proactive approach in support of business and departmental objectives.
• Complete all assembly work with a high level of technical accuracy, taking ownership of workmanship, attention to detail and build quality.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support departmental key performance objectives.

Key Requirements

• Demonstrable mechanical assembly experience, with a high level of proficiency, dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow detailed assembly procedures accurately.
• Competent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
