Job summary

Red Bull Technology, based in the UK, is seeking an Assembly Technician (Gearbox) to join the high-performance Assembly Group. You will build, service and maintain race car gearbox assemblies, ensuring quality and reliability while contributing to performance in motorsport.

The role requires interpreting engineering drawings, strong mechanical skills, and teamwork. Mobility to travel for events may be involved, with a focus on safety, precision, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Build, service and maintain a wide range of race car gearbox assemblies, ensuring the highest standards of quality, reliability and performance.
• Primarily based at Red Bull Technology HQ, with potential opportunities for travel to race and test events.
• Work collaboratively across all assembly areas to ensure delivery deadlines are achieved and operational efficiency is maximised.
• Demonstrate a positive, flexible and proactive approach in support of business and departmental objectives.
• Complete all assembly work with a high level of technical accuracy, taking ownership of workmanship, attention to detail and build quality.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support departmental key performance objectives.

Key Requirements

• Demonstrable mechanical assembly experience, with a high level of proficiency, dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow detailed assembly procedures accurately.
• Competent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and extended hours, to support business and event requirements.
