Job summary

Red Bull Powertrains in Milton Keynes is seeking an Assembly Technician (Powertrain Sub-Assembly) to support the design, build and maintenance of high-performance power units for the next era of F1 engines. Based at our state-of-the-art facility, you'll work on the assembly, build, servicing and testing of powertrain components.

You'll need strong engine build experience, mechanical assembly skills, the ability to read technical drawings, and proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• High level technical understanding and engine build experience.
• High level mechanical assembly competence.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow build procedures.
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel for internal systems.
• Willingness to travel and work hours as required.
• Motorsport or high-end automotive experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, build, service and maintain Power Units (oil pumps, fuel systems, water pumps, Turbocharger, MGU-K).
• Work at the factory and at events as requested by the Team Leader or Trackside Chief Mechanic.

We are seeking an Assembly Technician (Powertrain Sub-Assembly) to help drive the future of motorsport innovation. You will be based at our state of the art engineering and manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes, designed to produce high-performance Power Units for the 2026 engine regulations.

In this Assembly Technician role, you will cover all aspects of assembly, build, servicing and maintenance of our Power Units including oil pumps-fuel systems-water pumps, Turbocharger and MGU-K, both at the factory and on events if requested by the Team Leader or Trackside Chief Mechanic.

Knowledge and experience required:

• Demonstrate a high level of technical understanding and Engine build experience
• A high level of mechanical assembly competence
• Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and follow technical build processes and procedures including checklist data entry
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel to enable operation of internal business systems.
• Flexible attitude to travel and working hours (where required)
• Motorsport or high-end automotive experience (desired)
