Job summary

Blue Arrow is hiring Assembly Technicians and Production Operatives for Belper, Derbyshire. Immediate starts available with various shifts and weekly pay in a modern production facility.

Full training will be provided, with opportunities for progression and permanent positions for successful applicants. Own transport may be preferred due to limited public transport access for shift times.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred.
• Willingness to learn; training provided.
• Positive attitude and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and finished products to specification.
• Follow work instructions, drawings and processes.
• Conduct quality checks and visual inspections.

We are recruiting Assembly Technician | Assembly Operative | Mechanical Assembler | Production Operative | Manufacturing Operative | Factory Operative | Machine Operator | Production Technician | Manufacturing Technician to join a successful and expanding manufacturing business based in Belper, Derbyshire.

Please note that own transport is required if not local to Belper as there is no access to public transport that would be suitable for shift start time/ finish time.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for immediate start manufacturing jobs, weekly paid work, and genuine career progression within a modern production environment.

Pay Rates & Career Progression

Day Shift

Starting rate: £14.05 per hour

Progressing to: £17.75 per hour

Afternoon Shift

Starting rate: £16.02 per hour

Progressing to: £19.72 per hour

Night Shift

Starting rate: £17.05 per hour

Progressing to: £20.75 per hour

Shift Patterns

Day Shift

Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 14:30

Friday: 06:00 - 12:00

Afternoon Shift

Monday to Thursday: 14:30 - 23:00

Friday: 12:00 - 18:00

Night Shift

Sunday: 20:30 - 06:00

Monday to Thursday: 23:00 - 06:00

Main Duties

• Assembling components and finished products to specification
• Following work instructions, technical drawings, and production processes
• Conducting quality checks and visual inspections
• Using hand tools and manufacturing equipment safely
• Packing products ready for distribution and dispatch
• Achieving production targets and KPI requirements
• Maintaining high quality standards
