Job summary

Quest Employment in Banbury is recruiting Assembly Operatives for a leading manufacturing company. You will assemble high‑quality products, operate machinery and help meet production targets in a fast‑paced environment.

The role requires hands‑on experience in manufacturing, good attention to detail and reliable, punctual work. You’ll work rotating shifts with a four‑day week and weekly pay, gaining long‑term experience with a well‑established manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is essential.
• Experience within automotive manufacturing, assembly or machine operating is highly desirable.
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexible to work weekly rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assembling components to specification using hand and power tools.
• Operating production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Following assembly instructions and technical drawings where required.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
• Reporting any faults or defects to the relevant team.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
• Following all health and safety procedures.

Job description

Location: Banbury
Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary
Shift Pattern: Rotational (Weekly)

• Week 1: Monday – Thursday, 6:30am – 4:15pm

• Week 2: Monday – Thursday, 4:15pm – 2:00am

Pay Rate:

• £16.33 per hour

• £18.25 per hour for hours worked after 9:00pm
