TechPoint Group, a leading UK-owned CEM, is expanding its manufacturing team. We require high-standard PCB soldering skills to build complex products for top technology clients, operating on IPC class level 3 and reading manufacturing drawings.

You will join a small team in a world-class facility with in-house IPC training. Responsibilities include soldering, rework, operating X-ray/wave soldering and assembling cables and enclosures, reading documentation for conformance, and collaborating with

Qualificações

• High standards of PCB soldering skills to IPC class level 3.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings/route cards.

Responsabilidades

• Soldering a wide range of PTH components to IPC or J-STD level.
• Soldering to IPC class 2 & 3 and/or J-STD level.
• Reworking to IPC/J-STD standards.
• Operate X-ray/Wave soldering and other assembly equipment.
• Manufacture cable assemblies/Small mechanical assemblies and enclosures.
• Complete manual processes such as board washing, breakout, press-fit parts.
• Read and understand manufacturing drawings and documentation for build conformance.
• Proactively manage and report to quality/engineering and operations teams.

We requirehigh standardsof PCB soldering skills to build products for leading technology companies. You would be working within a small team responsible for the manufacturing of complex products to IPC class level 3. Our techniciansare required toread and fully understand manufacturing drawings/route cards, includingcomponenttypes and orientation. We have in-house trainers to certify staff to IPC standards.
Responsibilities

• Soldering a wide range of PTH components to IPC or J-STD level *


• Soldering to IPC class 2 & 3 and/or J-STD level


• Reworking to the standards above (desirable)


• Operation ofXrays/ Wave soldering and other assembly equipment.


• Manufacturing cable assemblies/Small mechanical assemblies and enclosures


• Completing manual processes such as board washing, breakout, press-fit parts


• Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and documentation for build conformance


• A pro-active approach to managing and reporting to the quality / engineering and operations teams

About you

• Experience working in a similar role in manufacturing environment


• Experience and certified to IPC or J-STD level


• Ability to read manufacturing drawings.
