Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assembly Operative for a manufacturing client. You will work with the team to assemble intricate items and support training to become a team leader.

You must adapt to a fast pace, 4 on 4 off shifts, and 12-hour days, with an extra £1 per hour when acting as Team Leader; a permanent contract may be offered.

• Previous assembly work in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience in team leadership is a plus and highly advantageous.

Are you an experienced Assembly Operative looking for the next step in your career?

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our client supporting the General Assembly side of the business with the view of training to be a team leader. Therefore, you must have good assembly operative experience to be considered for this role.

You will be working with the team to assemble intricate items, be driven to deliver orders and have a good memory to learn all of the different products you will be working with. You will be a great team player who can work to a fast pace, also step up as team leader when required and supervise the LN System.

If you have previously worked in a similar role or in manufacturing and distribution, we want to hear from you.

• Possibility of gaining a permanent contract
• 4 on 4 off shifts
• 12 hour days
• £1 per hour allowance when you work as a team leader

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £13.05 per hour whilst working as an assembly operative. When you are supporting as a Team leader, you will be paid an additional £1 per hour for all hours worked as a TL. This will increase your hourly rate to £14.05 per hour.Holiday is accrued up to 28 days year pro rata.We do not offer visa sponsorships.

Working Hours: This is a 4 on 4 off role where you will work 06:00 - 18:00.Depending when you start your 4 on period, there will be times that you are working a weekend.

• Previous team leader experience would be a huge advantage
