Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an Assembler for a role in Havant, Hampshire. You will join an aerospace manufacturing team and work on advanced PCBs and electromechanical assemblies in a clean, modern production environment.

The job offers a £14.24 per hour rate (holiday pay included) with Monday–Friday hours and flexible start times. It is a temporary opportunity with on-site parking at the facility.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within Assembly, PCB assembly, cable assembly or electromechanical assembly.
• Strong Through-Hole & SMT soldering experience
• Experience building wiring looms & cable harnesses
• Ability to read engineering drawings & wiring diagrams

Responsibilities

• Assembling conventional PCBs using both Through-Hole & SMT techniques
• Carrying out high-quality hand soldering to IPC standards
• Building cable assemblies, wiring looms & harnesses
• Completing electromechanical assemblies
• Inspecting completed work to ensure exceptional quality standards
• Carrying out PCB rework, repairs & engineering modifications
• Reading engineering drawings, schematics & wiring diagrams
• Occasionally travelling to a nearby site to support prototype projects

We're recruiting for an Assembler to join a growing aerospace manufacturing team in Havant, Hampshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work on advanced electronic & electromechanical assemblies in a clean, modern production environment, where no two days are the same.
