Job summary

Platinum-Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic Assembler in Havant, Hampshire. The role involves assembling PCBs using Through-Hole and Surface Mount techniques, performing precise hand soldering, and building cable harnesses for electromechanical assemblies.

You will inspect finished work to IPC quality standards and may travel to a nearby site to support prototypes. A temp opportunity with Monday–Friday hours and on-site parking is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in PCB assembly including Through-Hole and SMT
• Strong soldering skills to IPC standards
• Experience building wiring looms & cable harnesses

Responsibilities

• Assemble conventional PCBs using Through-Hole & SMT techniques
• Perform high-quality hand soldering to IPC standards
• Build cable assemblies, wiring looms & harnesses
• Assemble electromechanical assemblies
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards
• Carry out PCB rework, repairs & engineering modifications
• Occasionally travel to a nearby site to support prototype projects

• Previous experience within Assembly, PCB assembly, cable assembly or electromechanical assembly
• Strong Through-Hole & SMT soldering experience
• Experience building wiring looms & cable harnesses
