Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is recruiting an Assembler in Poole, Dorset to join a well-established electronics manufacturer producing high-quality PCB and electronic assemblies.

Working Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4pm and Friday 7:30am-1pm, you will enjoy weekly pay and an early finish every Friday. The role offers full-time hours with potential for permanency and a clean, organised production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing.
• Good hand soldering skills with fine-pitch components.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Hand soldering electronic components to a high standard.
• PCB assembly (SMT and through-hole).
• Working with fine-pitch components with accuracy and care.
• Mechanical assembly of electronic units and enclosures.
• Cable preparation, crimping, and wiring tasks.
• Inspecting, testing, and quality checking completed assemblies.
• Rework and modification of electronic boards where required.
• Working from technical drawings, BOMs, and build instructions.

Key Responsibilities
