Job summary

SER Limited in Northern Ireland is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair automated storage systems across customer sites. You will handle fault-finding, preventative maintenance and installations, working closely with clients and coordinating with internal teams.

The role requires multi-skilled engineers with strong electrical and mechanical capabilities, a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region, with an annual salary in the £38k-£40k range

Qualifications

• Hands-on and technically minded.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel across the region.
• Full UK driving licence held.
• Experience with ASRS or automation is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing automated storage systems.
• Carrying out inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Responding to breakdowns and providing technical support.
• Supporting system upgrades and software updates.
• Assisting with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Providing customers with technical support and product guidance.
• Completing service reports and documentation accurately.
• Managing your own diary, travel and workload.
• Building strong relationships with customers and representing the business professionally.
• Developing specialist knowledge of ASRS equipment and technology.
