Job summary
SER Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair automated storage systems across Northern Ireland with occasional UK travel. The role focuses on fault-finding and customer-facing technical support.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with hands-on, independent working style and a professional approach. A full UK driving licence is required and training opportunities are provided.
Qualifications
- Multi-skilled engineer with strong electrical and mechanical capabilities.
- Experience fault-finding and repair on automated systems.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance on automated storage systems
- Complete annual servicing and routine maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
- Respond to breakdowns and provide technical support
- Support system upgrades and software updates
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Provide customers with technical support and product guidance
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately
- Manage your diary, travel and workload
- Build relationships with customers and represent the business professionally
- Develop specialist knowledge of ASRS equipment and technology
