Job summary

Mercury Hampton Ltd in Northern Ireland is seeking a technically skilled Service Engineer to join its field service team. You will cover the South of Northern Ireland with occasional travel, performing fault finding, servicing and repairs on automated storage systems.

On-going training on automated systems with incremental salary increases is provided, including direct training with the manufacturer in Germany. A company van, tools and devices are provided to support you in daily work.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical fault finding on automated systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fault find, service, maintain and repair vertical lift and carousel systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and callouts with fast resolution.
• Provide technical support and training to customers.
