SR2 | Socially Responsible Recruitment | Certified B Corporation™ seeks a Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair automated industrial equipment across the UK. The role is hands-on, with fault-finding and customer-facing duties, and involves regular UK travel with occasional international training.

Applicants should have Level 3 electrical and mechanical qualifications (or equivalent) and strong experience with machinery. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Support installation and commissioning of new systems.
• Assist with equipment upgrades and software updates.
• Provide technical support and training to customers.
• Complete service reports and documentation.
• Manage your own schedule and customer travel.
• Regular UK travel with overnight stays.
• Occasional international travel for training.

Field Service Engineer | Northern Ireland | £38,000 + Company Van

I'm currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing engineering business supporting specialist automated equipment across the UK.

This is a genuinely hands-on field role, ideal for an engineer who enjoys fault-finding, maintenance, repairs and working directly with customers.

The role:

• Service, maintain and repair automated industrial equipment
• Carry out inspections, routine servicing and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults
• Respond to emergency breakdowns
• Support installation and commissioning of new systems
• Assist with equipment upgrades and software updates
• Provide technical support and training to customers
• Complete service reports and documentation
• Manage your own schedule and customer travel
• Regular UK travel with overnight stays
• Occasional international travel for training

What we're looking for:

• Level 3 electrical and mechanical engineering qualification/experience or equivalent
