Aldwych Consulting Ltd invites applications for a Managing Quantity Surveyor role focused on civils and infrastructure. Based in Suffolk with travel to Kent, you will progress from senior level to lead commercial delivery on projects, taking on cost control, forecasting and NEC contract administration across site-based teams.

You'll mentor junior members of the commercial team, shape commercial strategy, and work closely with project managers to maximise value while maintaining strong client

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Experience managing project costs, subcontractors and commercial reporting.
• Keen to progress into a Managing Quantity Surveyor position.
• Strong communication, commercial and organisational skills.
• Flexibility to travel between Suffolk and Kent as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial performance of projects, including cost control, forecasting and CVR reporting.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, payments and final accounts.
• Administer NEC contracts, including compensation events and variations.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities to maximise project returns.
• Work closely with project managers and operational teams.
• Take on greater responsibility for commercial strategy and supporting junior members of the commercial team.
