Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead the civil engineering and infrastructure commercial function on key projects across Suffolk with travel to Kent. The role is ideal for a Senior Quantity Surveyor ready to step up, taking greater commercial responsibility, steering NEC contract administration, cost control and reporting, and developing junior team members.

• Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience in civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Experience managing project costs, subcontractors and commercial reporting.

• Oversee subcontractor procurement, payments and final accounts.
• Administer NEC contracts, including compensation events and variations.

I'm working with a client looking for an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step into a Managing Quantity Surveyor role.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress their career, take on greater commercial responsibility and develop their leadership skills across civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

• An experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Experience managing project costs, subcontractors and commercial reporting.
• Someone keen to progress into a Managing Quantity Surveyor position.
• Strong communication, commercial and organisational skills.
• Flexibility to travel between Suffolk and Kent as required.
