Job summary

Loughview Leisure is seeking a dedicated Commis Chef for its operation at the Doubletree by Hilton Belfast City at Ten Square Hotel. You will help prepare, cook and present dishes, working with seasoned chefs to learn best practices and contribute to exceptional dining experiences.

The role offers a pathway to grow within a world-renowned hospitality brand, with emphasis on quality, teamwork, and culinary excellence.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience as a commis chef in a busy restaurant.
• Have a food hygiene certificate.
• Flexibility to work across a 7 day week.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Must have the right to work in UK.
• Must be able to converse in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food quickly and to company standards.
• Keep kitchen clean, hygienic and tidy at all times.
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and monitor maintenance issues.
• Manage food wastage through proper procedures.
• Complete in-house training to maintain knowledge.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
