Academics is recruiting an Aspiring Child Counsellor/SEN TA for a specialist school in Esher (Surrey). You will support pupils aged 7-17 with SEMH/MLD/ASD, deliver 1:1 and small group support, and follow safeguarding guidelines in a busy classroom.
Work is Monday to Friday, 08:30-15:30, term-time only, £93-£105 per day. Right to work in the UK is required, and enhanced DBS/ DBS checks may be requested by the client.

This specialist primary and secondary school in Esher is looking for compassionate and dedicated Aspiring Child Counsellor/Special Needs Teaching Assistant's (SEN TA) to join the team. The school supports children and young people aged 7-17 (Years 3-12) who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and/or Autism Spectrum conditions. These pupils may have experienced disrupted education, school refusal, anxiety or exclusion, find mainstream setting overwhelming, need small groups, high adult consistency and trusted relationships to succeed.
