Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Commis Chef to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the hotel kitchen, helping ensure smooth operations, high-quality dishes, and compliance with hygiene standards.

You will follow HACCP guidelines, work under pressure in a busy kitchen, and bring a passion for food and teamwork. Prior hotel or similar experience is preferred, with development opportunities through the Dalata Academy.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotels or similar food service environment.

• Good knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef and Sous Chef with the kitchen’s daily operations.
• Monitor food quality and hygiene standards under supervision.
• Follow Head Chef’s guidance to maintain excellence and efficiency.
• Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times.
• Support kitchen staff in maintaining hygiene during preparation and storage.
