Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join a leading compliance and surveying practice in Kent. You will conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections and surveys across domestic, commercial and industrial properties, collect data, and produce detailed survey reports with floor plans.

BOHS P402 qualification and full UK driving licence are required; a company car, pension, medical and shared options form part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 qualification (or recognised equivalent).
• Solid practical experience in asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial, and/or industrial environments.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, and surveys (Management, Refurbishment and Demolition) per HSG264 guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Collect site data and transport asbestos samples to UKAS-accredited testing facilities.
• Complete detailed survey reports and floor plan drawings using electronic survey software.
• Build and maintain client relationships, providing technical guidance and specialist advice.
• Liaise with Quality teams, Contracts Managers, Project Managers and site supervisors while representing the organisation in a professional manner at all times.

Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 base salary (exclusive of weekend working)

On-Target Earnings (OTE): Up to £51,000 (including weekend overtime)

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a leading compliance and surveying practice. In this role, you will conduct a full range of asbestos surveys across domestic, commercial, and industrial properties while supporting clients with specialist technical advice and accurate survey reporting.
