Job summary

Randstad CPE in Kent is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join our compliance and surveying practice. You will conduct a full range of asbestos surveys across domestic, commercial, and industrial properties, delivering accurate survey reporting and specialist technical advice.

The role requires BOHS P402 qualification, solid site experience, and a valid UK driving licence. You will work with clients, QA teams, and project managers to ensure compliant, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 qualification (or recognised equivalent).
• Solid practical experience in asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial and/or industrial environments.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, and surveys across domestic, commercial, and industrial properties in accordance with HSG264 guidelines and SOPs.
• Collect site data and transport asbestos samples to UKAS-accredited testing facilities.
• Complete detailed survey reports and floor plan drawings using electronic survey software.
• Build and maintain client relationships, providing technical guidance and specialist advice.
• Liaise with Quality teams, Contracts Managers, Project Managers, and site supervisors while representing the organisation professionally.

Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 base salary (exclusive of weekend working)

On-Target Earnings (OTE): Up to £51,000 (including weekend overtime)

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a leading compliance and surveying practice. In this role, you will conduct a full range of asbestos surveys across domestic, commercial, and industrial properties while supporting clients with specialist technical advice and accurate survey reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect site data and transport asbestos samples to UKAS-accredited testing facilities.
• Complete detailed survey reports and floor plan drawings using electronic survey software.
• Build and maintain client relationships, providing technical guidance and specialist advice.
• Liaise with Quality teams, Contracts Managers, Project Managers, and site supervisors while representing the organisation in a professional manner at all times.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• BOHS P402 qualification (or recognized equivalent).
• Solid practical experience in asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial, and/or industrial environments.
• Full UK driving licence.
