Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to cover West Midlands. You will perform a full range of asbestos surveys across domestic, commercial and industrial properties and provide specialist technical advice and accurate survey reports.

Ideal candidates hold a BOHS P402 qualification, have solid surveying experience and a valid UK driving licence. The role offers a dedicated company vehicle and a comprehensive benefits package, with potential weekend overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 qualification (or recognized equivalent).
• Solid practical experience in asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial and/or industrial environments.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, and Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys in line with HSG264.
• Collect site data and transport asbestos samples to UKAS testing facilities.
• Produce detailed survey reports and floor plans using electronic survey software.
• Build and maintain client relationships with technical guidance and advice.
• Collaborate with Quality, Contracts, Project Managers and site supervisors professionally.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 base salary (exclusive of weekend working) On-Target Earnings (OTE): Up to £51,000 (including weekend overtime) About the RoleWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a leading compliance and surveying practice. In this role, you will conduct a full range of asbestos surveys across domestic, commercial, and industrial properties while supporting clients with specialist technical advice and accurate survey reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, and Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition surveys in accordance with HSG264 guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Collect site data and transport asbestos samples to UKAS-accredited testing facilities.
• Complete detailed survey reports and floor plan drawings using electronic survey software.
• Build and maintain client relationships, providing technical guidance and specialist advice.
• Liaise with Quality teams, Contracts Managers, Project Managers, and site supervisors while representing the organisation in a professional manner at all times.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Solid practical experience in asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial, and/or industrial environments.
• Full UK driving licence.
