Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor for the M3 Corridor covering Southampton, Winchester, and Basingstoke. The role focuses on surveying duties across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and public sector properties.

You will carry out management, refurbishment and demolition surveys to HSG264 standards, gather bulk samples, and produce compliant survey reports. A BOHS P402 certificate and driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 certificate is essential.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an asbestos surveyor.
• Strong knowledge of HSG264 and asbestos legislation.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys per HSG264.
• Conduct bulk sampling across commercial/public sector properties.
• Produce accurate, compliant asbestos survey reports.
• Survey sites across the M3 Corridor including Southampton, Winchester and Basingstoke.
• Manage workload independently with support from operations.
• Ensure all work adheres to legislation and HSE guidance.

A well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to support a busy and expanding portfolio of work across the M3 Corridor, covering Southampton, Winchester, Basingstoke, and the surrounding areas. The Role

• Carrying out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in line with HSG264
• Conducting bulk sampling across a variety of commercial and public sector properties
• Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports
• Surveying commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public sector sites throughout the M3 Corridor
• Managing workload independently with support from an established operations team
• Ensuring all work complies with current legislation and HSE guidance

About You

• BOHS P402 (essential)
• Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and asbestos legislation
• Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy preferred
• Full UK driving licence
