Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to support a growing workload across Buckinghamshire and the Home Counties. The role focuses on surveying duties with a steady pipeline of commercial, residential, education, healthcare and public sector properties.

You will carry out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys (R&D) in line with HSG264, conduct bulk sampling, and produce accurate reports. BOHS P402 and a valid UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 (essential).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and asbestos legislation.
• Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Conducting bulk sampling across a variety of property types.
• Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports.
• Surveying commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and public sector sites.
• Managing workload independently with support from an established operations team.
• Ensuring all work complies with current legislation and HSE guidance.
