Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to support a busy portfolio across the M3 Corridor, covering Southampton, Winchester, Basingstoke and surrounding areas. The role focuses on surveying duties with a diverse range of properties including commercial, industrial, education and healthcare sectors.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 qualification is essential for this role.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an Asbestos Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and asbestos legislation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys per HSG264.
• Conduct bulk sampling across various properties.
• Produce accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports.
• Survey sites across the M3 Corridor including Southampton, Winchester, and Basingstoke.

Salary: Up to £45,000 (depending on experience)

A well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to support a busy and expanding portfolio of work across the M3 Corridor, covering Southampton, Winchester, Basingstoke, and the surrounding areas. This position is focused purely on surveying duties, offering a diverse range of projects across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and public sector properties.

The Role

• Carrying out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in line with HSG264
• Conducting bulk sampling across a variety of commercial and public sector properties
• Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports
• Surveying commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public sector sites throughout the M3 Corridor
• Managing workload independently with support from an established operations team
• Ensuring all work complies with current legislation and HSE guidance

About You

• BOHS P402 (essential)
• Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and asbestos legislation
• Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy preferred
• Full UK driving licence
• Professional, organised, and reliable
