Job summary

Future Select is recruiting an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a UKAS accredited consultancy covering the North East of England. You will work across domestic and commercial sites, completing management, refurbishment and demolition surveys and producing comprehensive reports.

Applicants should hold the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent) and have strong knowledge of HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines. Willingness to travel to multiple sites and deliver high-quality technical documentation is

Job Overview

A UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy is seeking an experienced and qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join their busy team. They are ideally looking for someone to cover a range of domestic and commercial sites across the North East of England. We are accepting applications from candidates who are fully signed off for all survey types, who are confident in working across a diverse range of premises. Experience / Qualifications

• Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, within a UKAS accredited company
• Will hold the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent)
• Strong technical knowledge, including: HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
• Able to produce comprehensive technical reports
• Adaptable to company travel requirements
• Good literacy and numeracy skills

The Role

• Conducting asbestos surveys across domestic and commercial premises (including management, refurbishment and demolition)
• Safely obtaining samples from site for analysis
• Writing detailed technical reports, highlighting any risks and making recommendations
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, answering technical queries
• Adhering to set deadlines and personal targets
• Wearing correct PPE at all times
• Representing the company in a positive manner
