Job summary

Future Select is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor to cover new domestic and commercial contracts across the South West, with emphasis on the Bristol area and surrounding towns.

The candidate will be signed off to complete the full range of asbestos surveys, hitting the ground running. Excellent training in additional compliance areas is provided and there are competitive salaries and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct demolition, refurbishment and management surveys.
• Collect ACM samples and deliver to lab for analysis.
• Prepare site-specific reports with findings.
• Highlight risks and provide recommendations.
• Liaise with clients and arrange site access.
• Ensure PPE compliance and adhere to guidelines.

Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor

Location: Bristol, Somerset

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £42k + Training & Benefits

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a professional Asbestos Surveyor to cover new domestic and commercial client contracts. Our client is a medium-sized UKAS accredited outfit, with a strong presence across the South West. Ideally, applicants will have good access to the M5 for easier travel across the region. You must be signed off to complete the full range of asbestos surveys, as you will be expected to hit the ground running. For hardworking individuals, they can offer fantastic training into other compliance / environmental sectors. Salaries and benefits on offer are competitive.

Experience / Qualifications

• Hands-on experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
• Qualified with the BOHS P402 or RSPH Level 3 in Surveying
• Excellent technical knowledge (e.g. UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines)
• Confident using IT software
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Flexible to travel in line with company needs
• Qualified with p401/p402/p403/p404 or s301 CCP

The Role

• Attending commercial and domestic properties to conduct demolition, refurbishment and management asbestos surveys
• Obtaining ACM samples from site and delivering to the lab for analysis
• Collating findings to produce site-specific reports
• Highlighting any risks and making recommendations where needed
• Being a key point of contact for clients, answering technical and logistical queries
• Wearing correct PPE at all times
• Liaising with clients to arrange access to sites
• Adhering to UKAS and HSG guidelines
• Representing the company in a professional and positive manner
