Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Asbestos Analyst for a permanent, full-time role based in Leicester. The position involves asbestos air monitoring, 4-stage clearances, and reporting in line with HSG248, supporting a busy Midlands workload.

Ideal candidates will hold BOHS P403/P404, a full UK driving licence, and have proven experience as an Asbestos Analyst with strong knowledge of asbestos regulations.

Qualifications

• BOHS P403 & P404 (essential)
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience working as an Asbestos Analyst
• Strong understanding of HSG248 and asbestos regulations
• Professional, organised and reliable
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Undertaking asbestos air monitoring, including background, leak, reassurance, and personal monitoring
• Carrying out 4-stage clearances and issuing Certificates of Reoccupation
• Conducting visual inspections on asbestos removal works
• Producing accurate, compliant reports in line with HSG248 guidance
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality control
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and site teams
