Job summary

Supply Team Education Ltd is recruiting an Art & DT Technician to work in a Newport secondary school. This full-time, temporary role runs term-time only, Monday to Friday 8:30am–3:30pm, supporting the Art and Food Departments with lesson preparation and resources.

You will provide technical and administrative support, help pupils during lessons, manage stock and equipment, and ensure health and safety compliance. DBS and EWC checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional environment.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support to the department.
• Ensure the teacher has everything required to deliver the lesson.
• Create and prepare resources for lessons and displays.
• Assist pupils during lessons.
• Maintain and monitor stock control.
• Maintain equipment in line with health and safety requirements.
