Job summary

Supply Team are recruiting for an Art & Technology Technician to work within a secondary school in Newport. The role is full-time and temporary with term-time hours 8.30am–3.30pm, starting immediately.

You will provide technical and administrative support to the Art and Food Department, preparing tools, equipment and materials for lessons, assisting pupils, and maintaining stock and equipment in line with health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional environment and understanding of Health and Safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical and administrative support.
• Ensuring the teacher has everything required to deliver the lesson.
• Create and prepare resources.
• Assist pupils during the lessons.
• Maintain and monitor stock control.
• Maintain equipment in accordance with health and safety requirements.
