Qualifications

• Has experience working as a DT Technician or in a practical/technical environment.
• Understands health and safety in a school/workshop setting.
• Experience supporting teachers and students in practical lessons.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials, tools and equipment for practical lessons.
• Support teachers with classroom and workshop preparation.
• Ensure equipment and resources are safe and ready for use; maintain and organise DT workshops and storage areas.
• Support students during practical activities.
• Maintain stock and monitor resources.
• Carry out basic equipment maintenance where appropriate.
• Help ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
