Job summary

A contemporary art gallery in Belfast is seeking a Visitor Experience Assistant to ensure a welcoming environment for visitors and assist with various gallery activities. Candidates should possess GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above and have a demonstrable interest in art. This is a temporary role with up to 25 hours per week, including some Saturday hours.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above required.
• Experience working with the public is essential.
• Must have a strong interest in art and art galleries.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the gallery is welcoming for visitors.
• Collect visitor and participant feedback.
• Prepare the Engagement Hub for visitors and workshops.
• Respond positively to public inquiries.
• Prepare refreshments for events.
• Maintain presentation standards across gallery spaces.
• Assist with administrative tasks as required.
