Job summary

G4S is recruiting an Area Security Officer to cover Kings Lynn, Wisbech and Spalding areas, travelling between 4–5 sites within a 20 mile radius. You will greet staff, enforce security protocols, conduct searches, patrol premises and handle incidents, with gatehouse and reception duties as needed.

Salary is £14.30 per hour, with 24 hours per week and a flexible day/night shift pattern. Driving license and access to a car are required; training for licenses may be provided.

Qualifications

• To be aged 18 or over.
• Preferably hold a valid Door Supervisor or Security Guarding License.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interact with staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Travelling to 4–5 different sites within a 20 mile radius of Kings Lynn.
• Meet and greet staff and visitors and ensure security protocols are followed.
• Conduct searches where required and patrol premises.
• Deal with security incidents and write incident reports.
• Carry out gatehouse and reception duties.

Area Security Officer to join the G4S team, covering

Kings Lynn, Wisbech and Spalding areas.

This will be to cover 4 to 5 sites within the area, where you will act as a security officer on site. With knowledge of a range of different sites, it will give you

great opportunities for progression and

gaining transferrable skills from the different customers!

Contract Information:

Pay Rate: £14.30 per hour

Hours: 24 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Flexibility required Monday to Sunday, on a day and night shift rotation.

SIA License: Security Guarding or Door Supervisor License (desired), however, training is available for the right candidate.

You must hold a full UK manual driving and your own car is needed for this position.

Your Time at Work

As an Area Security Officer your duties will include:

• Travelling to 4 or 5 different sites, within a 20 mile radius of the Kings Lynn area
• Meet and greeting staff and visitors and ensuring they adhere to the required security protocols
• Conducting searches where required
• Patrolling the premises
• Dealing with security incidents
• Incident report writing
• Gatehouse Duties
• Reception Duties

Our Perfect Worker

• To be aged 18 or over

• Be a great communicator, verbally and written
• To have great customer service skills
• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office platforms
