Job summary

G4S Area Security Officer is recruited via Staffline to cover sites in the Oxford area. You will patrol on foot or by vehicle, control access/egress, and monitor visitors and staff while responding to security breaches and medical incidents.

Applicants must hold SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor licences, have a manual driving licence and access to a vehicle, and be 18 or older. Strong communication and IT skills are essential for a professional service.

• Must drive and have access to own vehicle; manual driving license required
• Aged 18 or over; confident communicator with team orientation

Area Security Officer to join the G4S team, covering sites in

Contract Information:

The rate of pay is £14.50 per hour.

Hours: 42 hours a week, day and night shifts

SIA Licenses: Security Guarding or Door Supervisor

It is important that you drive and have access to your own vehicle; you must currently hold a Manual Driving License, as you will be required to use a company vehicle.

Your Time at Work

As a Area Security Officer, your duties will include:

• Patrolling the site, on foot or by vehicle
• Access and Egress control
• Monitoring of visitors, staff and customers to the sites
• Responding to security breaches and medical incidents
• Ensuring all customer standards are met on each site

Our Perfect Worker

It is important to have great communication and customer service skills. You will also need to have strong IT skills and be able to use all forms of technology and software systems.

Our perfect Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to always provide a friendly and professional service.
