Job summary

Staffline, in partnership with G4S, is seeking a Security Officer to protect a well known-site in the United Kingdom. You will safeguard people, property and assets while delivering excellent customer service.

Working on a full-time rotation of days and nights (4 days on, 4 off), duties include gatehouse and reception work, patrolling, incident reporting and searches as needed. A full UK driving licence and transport are essential.

Qualifications

• Over 18 years old
• Full, clean UK driving licence and own transport
• Willingness to pass vetting checks
• SIA licence beneficial but not required; training provided

Security Officer to join the G4S team, working for a well known-site in

Contract Information:

Pay Rate: £14.88 per hour

Hours: Full-time role, working days and night shifts on a rotation.

Shift Pattern: 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off. 6:30am to 6:30pm and 6:30pm to 6:30am

SIA Licence: It would be a benefit to have some security experience and an SIA Licence, however it,'s not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence training

Please note you must be over the age of 18 to apply for this role.

Applicants must have a full, clean UK driving licence and their own transport.

There is a requirement to pass multiple vetting checks for this role before you can start. This process can take several weeks. You need to be mindful of this requirement when you apply.

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer, you are more than a Security Guard, you'll ensure the safety of our customers, staff, their buildings, and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment. Duties include:

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A good IT knowledge is also key.

You must be flexible and available to work on a shift pattern that will include days, nights and weekends.

Please note, you must have a full, clean UK driving licence and your own transport.
