Job summary

Rotaflow Global Ltd invites applications for an Area Sales Representative based in Reading. You will manage a regional portfolio, complete hire contracts, and drive sales across scaffolding, access towers and related equipment.

The role requires 1–5 years in field sales or related areas, a proven track record of developing accounts, and a drive to exceed targets within a small team. Training and progression opportunities are excellent.

Qualifications

• Complete hire contracts and sales of construction equipment such as scaffolding, access towers and temporary fencing.

• Complete 6-8 visits a day typically 4 days a week.
• Increase sales with existing and new customers by developing strong relationships.
• Up-selling and cross-selling across the extensive product range.
• Offer a high level of customer service.

Our client is a £200million+ turnover market leading supplier of non-mechanical hire and sales equipment who have a track record of high investment into employees.

Area Sales Representative - Role & Responsibilities

• Complete hire contracts and sales of construction equipment such as scaffolding, access towers and temporary fencing
• Effectively manage and grow a portfolio of accounts across a defined region
• Complete 6-8 visits a day typically 4 days a week
• Increase sales with existing and new customers by developing strong relationships
• Up-selling and cross-selling across the extensive product range
• Offering a high level of customer service

Experience required

• 1-5 years' experience in field sales, account management or business development. This role would suit candidates from the Construction, Hire, Building Supply, Safety, Tooling, PPE, Distribution, Consumables selling to sectors such as Commercial, Temporary Works, Construction, Retail, Contractors & Consultants, Industrial, Utilities and Civil Engineers
• A track record of developing accounts and business across a region
• A clear drive and desire to succeed and grow sales
• Enjoy working to targets and within a small team

Must be located across the South Central region of England. The territory covers Reading, Oxford, Swindon, Watford, Basingstoke, Thatcham, Winchester, Southampton and surrounding areas. This role will suit candidates who enjoy sales and regularly speaking with a variety of customers and solving their problems.

You will receive in depth training and support while you start with the company and excellent opportunities for progression into sales management or a more senior sales role with further responsibility will be available.
