Area Sales Manager - Covering the South Coast Area

Salary: Up to £50,000 Basic DOE, with a realistic OTE of £80,000+ (uncapped commission) + company car

Job Type: Full-time, home-based, regional role covering the following postcode areas:

  • BH - Bournemouth
  • SO - Southampton
  • PO - Portsmouth
  • DT - Dorchester
  • SP - Salisbury

Carfinance 247 is the leading online Car Finance broker in the UK, specializing in providing customers with car finance through our Manchester headquarters, home-based operations, and our rapidly expanding motor dealer channel.

This is a new and rapidly growing area of our business, and we are developing a team of Field Sales Professionals to proactively grow the motor dealer channel. As an Area Sales Representative, you will manage a territory, working with an internal Relationship Manager to develop the region. Your role involves maintaining relationships with existing dealers and building new ones to increase penetration within your area. Your focus will be on maximizing leads and revenue from existing partners and introducing new dealers to CF247's benefits. Responsibilities of the Area Sales Manager:
  1. Manage and develop a regional area in the UK.
  2. Proactively acquire new motor dealer partners for CF247.
  3. Build relationships with existing motor dealers and position CF247 within their finance offerings.
  4. Liaise with internal sales and delivery teams to ensure market-leading service.
  5. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  6. Utilize and update the CRM system to manage activity and pipeline.
  7. Conduct business reviews to ensure excellent service and regulatory compliance.
  8. Attend Head Office meetings once per quarter.
About You:
  • Proven track record in selling within the Motor Trade.
  • Experience in account management and business development in motor finance is desirable.
  • Proactive with high activity levels to meet targets.
  • Target-driven with a history of achieving sales goals.
  • Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Skilled in winning and maintaining new business.
  • Strong negotiating and influencing abilities.
