Job summary

Scarlet Selection is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive resin flooring and resin bound surfacing sales across the Southeast UK. You will develop new business with contractors, installers and house builders, working from home when not visiting customers.

The role offers a base salary of £40,000–£50,000 plus an uncapped OTE around £70,000, a company car or car allowance, and a pension scheme. A proven track record in field sales is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years field sales experience as Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or Territory Sales Manager.
• Experience selling resin flooring or surfacing is a plus but not mandatory.
• Proven ability to win projects with contractors and installers.

Responsibilities

• Owning the full sales cycle—from initial discovery and qualification through to proposals, negotiation and close.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders to ensure long-term retention and growth.
• Growing accounts by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities and following up consistently.
• Managing pipeline effectively—keep accurate records, forecast accurately, and drive activity to meet targets.
• Presenting and demonstrating value—communicate product benefits clearly and confidently, tailored to the customer's goals.
