Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is recruiting an Area Sales Manager to drive power generation sales across the South and North regions. You will cultivate relationships with plant hire companies, rental firms, and distributors, promoting a broad range of generators, light towers, and energy storage solutions.

You will manage budgets, forecast and report using CRM systems, travel as required, and negotiate commercial offers to achieve area turnover targets.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in power generation or related equipment sales.
• Willingness to travel across regions.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Field sales role promoting generators, light towers and battery storage.
• Sell to plant hire, rental companies, resellers and distributors.
• Budget management and achievement of area turnover targets.
• Internal reporting using CRM (Salesforce) systems.
• Forecasting and sales analysis.
• Management of negotiations and commercial offers.
• Maintain customer relationships and develop new business opportunities.

Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Power generation

Areas to be covered

1 x South and 1 x North

Remuneration

£45,000- £55,000 Neg. + 20% Bonus and 50% Stretch Bonus

Responsibilities

• Field sales role, vast majority of your time selling a manufactured range of generators, from small mobile petrol generators up to large scale industrial diesel and gas stationary generators
• Small amount of time also promoting light towers and battery storage systems
• Majority of time selling into plant hire companies and rental companies as well as resellers and distributors of generators
• Budget management and achievement of area turnover target
• Internal reporting using CRM (salesforce) systems
• Forecast and sales analysis
• Management of negotiations and commercial offers

Requirements

• Proven track record selling power generation equipment
• May considered allied products; light tower/ battery storage
• Construction hire equipment backgrounds
• Open to hire or sale backgrounds
• Technically competent
• Great communication
