What would you do as our Area Sales Manager

As our Area Sales Manager, you will drive sales growth among Non-Key Accounts and new customers for Biosite. You’ll be responsible for prospecting, closing deals, and exceeding monthly sales targets, focusing on developing new business opportunities and nurturing customer relationships. You will manage your pipeline, convert leads, and ensure measurable sales success. The role comprises 60% new business development and 40% nurturing existing non-enterprise customers to increase their spend and product procurement.

You would also:

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by winning new business in the construction industry and managing the sales pipeline.
  • Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital platforms, and set and close appointments.
  • Deliver tailored sales presentations, negotiate pricing and contracts, and communicate the value of our products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing needs to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Forecast sales, manage CRM data, track performance metrics, and collaborate with key account teams.
The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong sales experience in construction or a related sector, with a proven track record of growth and target achievement.
  • Can develop and execute successful sales strategies in competitive markets.
  • Possesses strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills to close deals effectively.
  • Is data-driven with excellent organizational skills for managing forecasts and pipelines.
  • Is comfortable with technical selling, leveraging technology, and willing to travel with a full driver’s license.
