Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Drylining & Interiors Decorative Solutions covering South West & South Wales. You will sell a range of drylining and finishing products to distributors and merchants, with a £600k turnover target and approximately £1k average order value.

The role requires proven sales experience in the building trade, a strong network with distributors and buying groups, and a proactive, self-driven approach to generating new business while managing

Qualifications

• Must have sales experience in the building trade (open in terms of what products you’ve sold).
• Must have an appreciation for distributors, builders merchants, buying groups, DIY shed route to market.

Responsibilities

• Sell a high quality range of drylining and interior decorative solutions to drylining distributors.
• Target builders merchants, buying groups and DIY sheds.
• Meet turnover target £600k and average order value £1k; generate new business while managing accounts.

Areas to be covered: South West & South Wales

Remuneration: £40,000-£42,000 + bonus

Benefits: £450 car allowance & full comprehensive benefits package

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Drylining & Interiors Decorative Solutions will involve:

• Field sales positions selling a high quality manufactured range of drylining & interior decorative solutions such as; fillers, repairs, adhesives, bonding, skim & surface finishes
• In the short terms all of your time will be spent selling to drylining distributors such as; CCF& SIG
• As the role involved our client wants you to target builders merchants, buying groups and DIY sheds
• Turnover target £600k
• Average order value £1k
• Will be giving accounts however want you to generate new business

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Drylining & Interiors Decorative Solutions with:

• Must have sales experience in the building trade (open in terms of what products you’ve sold)
• Must have an appreciation for distributors, builders merchants, buying groups, DIY shed route to market
