Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth in drylining and interior decorative solutions across northern England, Scotland, South West and South Wales. You will build and manage relationships with distributors, builders merchants and buying groups while pursuing new business opportunities.

The role targets significant turnover with an average order value around £1k. A competitive remuneration package includes a £40k–£42k base plus bonus and a £450 car allowance,

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in the building trade.
• Experience with distributors, builders merchants, buying groups and DIY sheds.
• Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Sell a high quality range of drylining and interior decorative solutions.
• Initially target drylining distributors such as CCF and SIG.
• Develop relationships with builders merchants, buying groups and DIY sheds.
• Manage accounts and generate new business.
• Aim for area turnover targets of £1m NW, £500k SW and £600k.
