Job summary

Chase Taylor Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover the East Midlands. The role focuses on developing new business, strengthening existing relationships and increasing sales across the territory, with emphasis on trade counters, installers and builders in windows, doors and building products.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in area or territory sales, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage a territory

Qualifications

• Experience as an Area Sales Manager or similar.
• Experience in windows/doors or building products.
• Understanding of trade counters and needs of trade customers.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an effective area sales strategy to achieve sales targets.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the trade market.
• Build and maintain relationships with installers, builders, contractors and trade counter customers.
• Promote the company's range of windows, doors and building products.
• Identify opportunities to grow customer accounts and increase product sales.
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand requirements and generate new business.
• Develop relationships with customers purchasing through trade counters and building product branches.
• Research local markets and competitor activity to maximise sales potential.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and close sales opportunities.
• Work closely with internal sales and branch teams to deliver excellent customer service.
• Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity and progress against targets.
• Represent the business professionally at customer meetings and industry events.
