Job summary

Chase Taylor Recruitment Ltd, on behalf of an established building products business, seeks an Area Sales Manager for Newcastle and surrounding areas. You will drive new business, strengthen relationships with installers, builders and trade counters, and promote a wide range of windows, doors and building products.

Ideal candidates have trade sales experience within windows/doors or building plastics, a proven track record in growing accounts, and strong relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in area/trade sales within windows/doors or building products is required.
• Proven ability to identify and win new business and grow existing accounts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an effective area sales strategy to achieve targets.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the trade market.
• Build and maintain relationships with installers, builders, contractors and trade counter customers.
• Promote windows, doors and building products to drive sales in the territory.
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand requirements and generate new business.
• Work with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service and meet pipeline targets.
