Area Sales Manager

Our client is a leading manufacturer of hinge and hardware products, looking for a highly driven and skilled individual to join their team as an Area Sales Manager.

Role:

As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, maintaining knowledge of industry standards and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  1. Represent the company professionally.
  2. Report directly to the Head of Sales.
  3. Provide weekly sales reports, collect customer feedback, and conduct market research.
  4. Keep the customer database up to date and work on establishing, maintaining, and increasing the customer base, including current dealers, door producers, and developers.
  5. Maintain and grow sales of the company's products.
  6. Achieve sales targets and goals based on current market trends.
  7. Maintain company profitability and sales margins.
  8. Evaluate sales data to identify strengths and weaknesses in current products.
  9. Identify new business opportunities within other market sectors.
  10. Collaborate on projects within the distributor customer base.
  11. Possess excellent product and technical knowledge of the product portfolio.
  12. Maintain and secure project and product specifications.
  13. Support new product development.
  14. Promote the company and its products via trade exhibitions.
  15. Research and identify marketing opportunities.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in sales of hardware systems for architectural and specialist door manufacturers.
  • Formal sales training.
  • Contacts with architects and/or developers.
  • Confident and personable demeanor.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint presentations.
  • GAI Diploma (desirable, not mandatory).
