Classic Area Sales Manager role managing existing accounts and generating new business on an established sales territory covering the North of England and Scotland and living on the M62 corridor. You will be working for a market leading British manufacturer of packaging machinery and associated flexible packaging consumables.

BASIC SALARY: up to A GBP 55,000 base

JOB DESCRIPTION: Area Sales Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Business Development Manager : packaging machinery, capital equipment

This is a classic Area Sales Manager role managing an established and successful territory with a 50/50 split of account management and new business selling packaging machinery and associated flexible packaging consumables to component manufacturers and the eCommerce market as well as contract packers and distributors. There is full technical support and service back up and full product training will be provided.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• A You MUST have a proven track record in field sales and are sales management with specific previous experience of selling capital equipment or a technical solution to the manufacturing market.
• A Ideally you will have sold to component manufacturers.
• A You will be willing and able to generate new business.
• A Any experience of selling to the eCommerce market would be advantageous.
